Jurassic World Evolution Launches New Trailer, Pre-Orders Available

Jurassic World Evolution Launches New Trailer, Pre-Orders Available

A new trailer has been released for the upcoming Jurassic World Evolution game and it features some fearsome looking dinos.

Along with the trailer, developer Frontier Developments has announced that the game is now available to pre-order ahead of its June 12th release date and it will be launching on PlayStation 4, XBox One and PC. The game was originally announced back in April of 2017 but this is the first trailer that shows off the game’s building mechanics.

Jurassic World Evolution is based on 2015’s Jurassic World film and it tasks you with building your very own dinosaur-based theme park. Just like in the movie, you can bioengineer your own dinosaur breeds along with the ability to construct attractions, containment facilities and customize the look and feel of your park.

Also, in true Jurassic Park spirit, the dinosaurs in your park can get loose and wreak havoc and it’s up to you to find a way to contain them. According to the developers, the choices you make in the game are significant as, “every choice leads to a different path and spectacular challenges arise when life finds a way.”

The latest Jurassic Park game to release was 2015’s Lego Jurassic World which featured all four movies in the franchise, complete with lego brick shenanigans. The sequel to the film Jurassic World, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will also be coming in June, with a Canadian release set for the 22nd.
