EA reveals new information about Origin Access Premier

EA Announces Streaming Service and Premium Tier for Origin Access 1

During an E3 that seems unable to keep a secret, EA dropped a bombshell on the gaming world when it announced two new additions to the EA Origin Access platform. For those who have not heard of this service before, EA Origin Access is a subscription service that allows access to a library of roughly 100 games for a monthly charge, and on occasion a short early access period for the company’s bigger titles.

The first change comes in the form of another tier of library access that EA is calling Origin Access Premier. It is being pitched as a higher tier of access that is designed to give interested players a larger library of EA games to play. The qualifier of more games is a little vague, and to make matters worst no time frame was given for the release of this new tier. That said, we do know that FIFA 19Madden 19, and Anthem are some of the games players will be able to access with Origin Access Premier.

The other major change is a yet unnamed streaming service, but unfortunately the only news we were given is the fact that the streaming service will come…eventually. EA did mention that the streaming platform should work with a lot of hardware, but those pieces of equipment were described with generic terms like consoles or tablets.
