No Man’s Sky has been confirmed to arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S at launch with a slew of upgrades.

As with all No Man’s Sky title updates, The Next Generation (version 3.10) is no mere graphics boost. Supporting cross-save and cross-play, this free upgrade for existing owners includes planets populated with more wildlife than ever before, more complex base-building, 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, the PS5’s trigger feedback, 3D audio, and virtual reality, faster warp speeds and loading times, and, most notably, 32-player multiplayer. That’s a far cry from launch! And of course, all of this will be available for PC players too.

The patch also comes with another round of bugfixes and quality of life improvements. The game is expected to be more stable on all consoles. In addition, it seems that space combat has been revised to be more responsive and clear to the player. The game just keeps getting better and better, and it sounds like this next-gen launch is the perfect time to get in on the game.

No Man’s Sky is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store. It will arrive on the Xbox Series consoles on November 10th, and the PlayStation 5 on November 12th. The turnaround success story that is Hello Games’ premier title continues to impress, and it shows no signs of slowing down. We’ll keep you posted on it’s next big title update, and all the next gen news in the meantime.
