Destiny 2 is fundamentally different from many MMO RPGs. At least in terms of networking – despite the fact that the project completely covers the theme of space, it demonstrates all the mechanics of a shooter, but with the introduction of MMO RPG chips and fantasy skills.
The player has to choose his class, master key updates and mechanics, find and select a subclass, explore space, protect his home planet, go to raids and PVP zones, earn glimmers for his equipment, or buy Destiny 2 boosting from the Skycoach.
First stage
Upon entering the world of Destiny 2 and joining the project painstakingly created by Bungie, you will have to choose your class.
You will be offered only three heroes, but do not rush to get upset—Destiny 2 is built on content for small groups and the ability to find different scenarios for using different classes.
You can choose a Titan, Warlock, or Hunter.
Titan
An armoured class that aims to protect the fireteam, increased damage with steel fists, and the ability to fire from ranged weapons.
The class can set up a blocking shield that will reflect all incoming damage in a straight line but will not protect against side or rear damage, as well as grenades that will be thrown over the hero, so carefully watch the enemy and his tactics.
Steel fists are used to punch enemies who dare to get too close or to strike the ground, which will cause explosive waves and knock back nearby opponents.
Warlock
This is a shooter who can use various spells to attack opponents, or protect allies.
The main task of the warlock on the battlefield is to deal massive damage and supplement it with fire from his weapon.
Heroes who choose to support the direction of the class will be able to set special zones in which all allies will receive healing and increase their combat characteristics.
Everyone who chooses an attacking direction will deal increased AoE damage and destroy entire groups of monsters if they are provided with reliable cover, since Warlock, although a strong class, is not very hardy, especially in melee battles.
Hunter
The most famous and popular hero in Destiny 2 at the moment and has been for a long time due to the interesting mechanics of combat from long and close range.
For long distances, he uses various weapons and skills that deal consistent damage and pierce armour, which is especially effective in raids and while levelling.
In the event of a fight at close range, the Hunter has the option to use daggers and disguise elements for successful fights and emerge victorious from them with a high degree of probability.
An interesting character, vivid gameplay, and the ability to adjust your fight to close and long distances and use disguise to attack or quickly escape from a situation that has arisen and make the Hunter one of the most popular classes in Destiny 2. The cloak is the main attribute of the class, introducing him to the guild mercenaries and meaning that the character has a personal order to eliminate the target.
Second phase
When you have chosen your hero and completed a brief tutorial that will teach you how to use the character’s weapons and skills, movement and maneuvering techniques and send you to the quest system.
You will be brought up to date and introduced to the plot and the general confrontation between people and alien invaders, situations on the battlefield and will send you through the main quests that will allow you to get to know the main skills and features better, master the mechanics of grind, strikes and raids and gradually approach the system subclasses and PVP zones.
Quest system
You will receive tasks and gradually progress through the storyline and master your skills and get closer to the subclass system, strikes and raids.
In addition to the story missions, there are also secondary ones that you need to look for on your own and contracts that require you to perform standard actions like shooting heads, and if you invest in the set timer, you can get additional experience. Contracts are updated depending on its duration, but for glimmers – the local currency, you can update ahead of schedule and, in fact, ensure a constant conversion of money into experience.
Strike System
In Destiny 2, you will quickly get to the strike system. These are small raid zones for small groups, or even single sweeps.
In general, you can easily defeat the boss alone, but you need to be prepared for the fact that you will have to make much more effort to win.
Strikes are needed to significantly increase your level of experience, get acquainted with new content and prepare for the raid system, and at the same time, get improved types of weapons and equipment.
Raid system
Destiny 2 has a large and extensive raid system that is related to major updates and is simply tied to certain locations and zones.
You need to go into raids for a chance to get legendary equipment and weapons comparable to the raid zone itself, the level of difficulty and effort that you need to make to defeat the boss, and of course, good luck – you can always knock out equipment and weapons of mythic quality.
A zone can be normal, heroic, or mythic.
These are difficulty levels that open gradually as you progress.
The normal level is often easy to complete and requires a minimal fire team. The raid itself is essentially an introductory one so that you can look at the behaviour of the boss, his main skills and features – this will come in handy when you return to heroic and mythic difficulty.
The heroic raid will have a similar scheme, but it is desirable that there are more players to enter and the boss himself becomes more aggressive, uses his skills more often and has enhanced health and attack parameters.
The epic raid will be the most interesting and profitable. Still, also the most difficult – the boss will begin to act atrociously, use his signature moves almost without interruption and often not warn players about their use, which significantly increases the chance of failing the raid.
Often, it is mythic raids that are the source of legendary items of weapons and equipment. This does not mean that the chance is unambiguous, but it is much higher, and there are more awards in terms of quantity.
PVP System
You will be able to participate in battles against other players to claim legendary weapons and equipment as a seasonal reward.
The mode is called Trial of Osiris and involves round battles between groups of players not only for victories but also for a series of wins, since it is for them that rewards are issued. You need to score three, five, or seven wins in a row to be eligible to collect your reward.
