Computex 2026 is proving to be a major moment for GIGABYTE. The company is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a showcase that looks back at four decades of hardware development while pointing toward where it wants to go next. This year’s theme, ENTER INFINITY, runs through a lineup spanning motherboards, GPUs, PC concepts, monitors and laptops, all with a focus on AI-accelerated computing and next-generation thermal design.
Across its Computex booth, GIGABYTE is tying that history to a broad refresh of its major product categories. The INFINITY Series leans into aerospace-grade materials and experimental cooling designs. The WOOD Series brings warmer, more lifestyle-focused styling to high-end components. The AORUS ELITE monitors introduce new panel technologies and AI-powered display tools, while the mobile lineup culminates in the AORUS MASTER 16, billed as the world’s slimmest X3D-powered gaming laptop.
Together, it makes for a comprehensive anniversary showcase, one that reflects both where GIGABYTE has been and where it is headed next.
INFINITY Series: A 40th Anniversary Built on Engineering Extremes
The INFINITY Series sits at the centre of GIGABYTE’s anniversary showcase. The cross-category lineup brings together experimental materials, advanced manufacturing techniques and AI-driven performance tuning, creating a family of products that reflects much of what the company has developed over the past four decades.
The X870E AORUS INFINITY NEXT motherboard is the clearest example of that approach. It uses rocket-thruster-grade thermal materials, a 3D-printed vapour chamber and a honeycomb-structured metal backplate that increases rigidity threefold while improving airflow by 45%. The board’s more than 64 power phases and 5,120A total current delivery are clearly built for extremes, supported by LEO-grade Quad OptiMOS components typically found in space-rated systems. Even the M.2 cooling solution takes an experimental approach, using an AI-optimized gyroid heatsink with 44% more surface area.

The INFINITY GPUs follow the same ethos. The new WINDFORCE HYPERBURST cooling system, first introduced on the RTX 5090 INFINITY, features a vertical airflow path and a hollowed-out structure that deliver 28% more airflow than standard hollow-out cards and 58% more airflow than non-hollow-out designs. The cards also adopt a hidden slide-in connector, eliminating cable bending and giving builds a cleaner, more modern look.
Even the peripherals and chassis carry the anniversary DNA. The AORUS C510 GLASS INFINITY features a rotatable 16-inch side display that can act as a primary or secondary monitor, while the K10 INFINITY keyboard introduces magnetic switches with 0.1-mm precision, an integrated 3.1-inch OLED touchscreen and 8,000 Hz polling for competitive responsiveness.

WOOD Series: Natural Materials Meet High‑Performance Computing
The X870E AERO X3D WOOD Concept Ecosystem offers a different perspective on high-end PC design. Rather than focusing solely on performance, GIGABYTE has built out WOOD as a complete aesthetic platform that pairs natural materials with enthusiast-grade hardware, and the combination is stunning. The ecosystem includes a motherboard, multiple GPU variants and a series of concept builds that explore how wood-inspired finishes can be integrated into modern PC setups.
The DARK WOOD variant takes that approach in a different direction, using deeper tones that complement minimalist builds and darker workspaces. While the INFINITY Series leans into futuristic materials and industrial styling, WOOD emphasizes warmth and craftsmanship, giving the lineup a distinct identity within GIGABYTE’s broader anniversary showcase.

GIGABYTE is also using partnerships to expand the WOOD ecosystem beyond its own hardware (and as someone who loves my PC looking like it has a uniform design, I am very happy to see it). Collaborations with Corsair, Noctua and TRYX bring matching cases, coolers and accessories into the fold, making it easier to build a system around the same design language. Rather than relying on custom modifications or hard-to-find components, the ecosystem is being developed with compatibility in mind from the outset.
The X870E AERO X3D DARK WOOD motherboard serves as the centrepiece of the lineup, combining a walnut finish with details such as a leather pull tab. That design language carries over to the graphics cards, including the AORUS GeForce RTX 5080 INFINITY WOOD and DARK WOOD editions. Together, the components give the build a consistent visual identity, something that can be difficult to achieve when parts come from multiple manufacturers.
The result is a lineup that feels as suited to a living room, studio or home office as it does to a traditional gaming setup. It also reflects a broader shift in consumer technology, where natural materials, warmer finishes and less aggressive styling are becoming more common.=
