Leading the lineup is the HomePower 2000 Plus v2, a modular home battery system designed for households looking for expandable backup power without committing to a permanent installation. Starting with a 2kWh capacity, the system can scale up to 12kWh simply by stacking additional battery packs, allowing homeowners to grow their energy storage as their needs change.
The 2000 Plus v2 delivers 2,400W of continuous output with a 4,800W surge capacity, enough to operate high-demand appliances during an outage. Jackery says its Priority Routing technology intelligently allocates remaining power to essential devices as battery levels decline, helping extend runtime for refrigerators, lighting, and communications equipment when they’re needed most. The unit also accepts up to 800W of solar input, allowing a full recharge in under three hours under optimal conditions, while weighing 21 pounds less than its predecessor for improved portability.
For users who prioritize connectivity over whole-home backup, the HomePower 1000 v2 focuses on keeping today’s increasingly digital lifestyles running. Offering 1,024Wh of capacity with 1,500W of output, the unit is designed to support computers, networking equipment, and other electronics during unexpected outages.
One of its standout features is a sub-10ms automatic switchover, allowing connected devices to continue operating almost seamlessly if grid power fails. Combined with built-in surge protection and LiFePO₄ battery technology rated for over 6,000 charge cycles, the HomePower 1000 v2 is positioned as an alternative to traditional UPS systems while offering significantly longer runtimes for remote workers and home offices.
Beyond the hardware itself, Jackery’s Canadian debut also introduces localized customer service and warranty support. Canadian customers will receive a standard three-year warranty alongside an additional two years of extended coverage, providing a total of five years of support.
The launch also signals a broader strategy for the company.
