As teased late last month with the Heist-based Battle Royale update, Ahsoka Tano has joined Fortnite as a combatant skin and a mentor in the ways of lightsaber combat and the Force for Chapter 4 Season 4.
Ahsoka Tano is now officially in Fortnite as of this morning, and not only has she appeared as a skin for combatants to strut around as, but she also appears as a hologram mentor to teach combatants the ways of the Force during Chapter 4 Season 4. If fighters accept her offer of training, a rift will be entered, and fans will emerge with a Jedi training lightsaber and knowledge of Force skills that can be used throughout the Fortnite Battle Royale match in which Ahsoka’s hologram is located. Royale players should be aware that Force powers will only work if a player has both completed the training and is holding the training lightsaber. Lightsaber looting is discouraged.
To earn the Ahsoka Tano skin, fans have to purchase the Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass and work towards claiming their prize. Fans can expect to utilize two abilities when holding the training lightsaber: a force push that can send the competition (and objects) flying, and a force sprint that can enable combatants to travel far distances without a vehicle or the bus you rode in on. It’s important to note if fans have already purchased the Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass, Ahsoka Tano based quests will be available in the “Quests” tab as per usual. These Quests will remain available until the end of the Fortnite Season.
Ahsoka joins the previously released Star Wars roster of characters skins in Fortnite, such as Darth Vader, The Mandalorian, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and with her inclusion to the roster she can actually meet the characters out of her timeline for the first time such as Rey from the new trilogy.
