Gaming Monitors That Are Out Of This World

Alienware Unveils 30+ Inch Monitor Lineup For 30th Anniversary

Alienware has just introduced four new gaming monitors at COMPUTEX Taipei 2026, featuring new technology to further improve OLED screen quality.

After nearly 30 years in the industry, Alienware is still making its mark in gaming hardware with evolving technology. Their new flagship monitor, the 39 5K OLED, is the first 5K OLED in the world to use RGB stripe technology to maintain crisp colour quality without sacrificing brightness. Alongside the 39 5K OLED is a newly improved 34 280Hz QD-OLED, and the 34 and 32 240Hz monitors acting as more affordable entry points. These new monitors will be rolling out in July.

The world’s first 39-inch 5K OLED monitor with RGB stripe technology uses technology that helps increase brightness without sacrificing the standout features of an OLED screen: colour accuracy and deep blacks. This monitor uses a panel built with stacks of independent layers of red, green and blue elements to deliver 1,300 nits of peak brightness while keeping vivid colours, meaning deep blacks and rich colours do not get washed out by brightness.

This 1500R curved monitor also features two distinct refresh-rate modes: 1080p at 330 Hz and 5K at 165 Hz, along with a 0.03 ms gray-to-gray response time. To help prevent screen degradation and ensure the monitor’s longevity, the 39-inch 5K OLED uses intelligent pixel management technology that predicts and stabilizes your usage patterns. For those connecting multiple devices to the 39-inch 5K OLED, an integrated KVM switch can help you switch between them effortlessly.

In 2022, Alienware launched the world’s first QD-OLED gaming monitor, combining high-quality OLED and Quantum Dot (QD) technologies into a seriously advanced piece of hardware. They’ve kept making improvements to the same model since then, and today we are also introduced to the 34 280Hz QD-OLED.

The AW3426DW has moved from four stacks of Penta Tandem to five, boosting efficiency, lifespan, and brightness up to 1300 nits from 1000 nits in the previous model. A new anti-reflective coating cuts glare by 30%, and the refresh rate has been improved from 240 Hz to 280 Hz on the 34″ QD-OLED ultrawide panel with a 0.03 ms response time.

For those looking for the flagship quality of the 39 5K OLED at a more cost-effective price point, the new 34 and 32 240Hz curved gaming monitors are the way to go. The 34-inch features a 3440 x 1440 Ultrawide Quad HD panel with a 1500R curve, with the 32-inch panel coming in at 2560 x 1440 Quad HD. Both monitors run at 240 Hz with a 1 ms gray-to-gray response time and TÜV-certified low-blue-light hardware to reduce eye strain.

The Alienware 32-inch 240Hz Gaming Monitor is priced at $299.99 USD, with the 34-inch version at $399.99 USD. The pricing for the Alienware 39 5K OLED and 34 280Hz QD-OLED has not yet been determined, and all four monitors will be available globally in July, likely on the official Dell website.
