Limited time access for the Xbox Game Pass for PC will be given along with newly purchased AMD products.
Today, AMD launched the “AMD Xbox Game Pass for PC (XGP) ‘Equipped for Battle’ Game Bundle that gives consumers one month of free access to XGP with the purchase of specific AMD graphic cards (GPUs) and processors (CPUs). XGP is a digital pass that allows players to take advantage of hundreds of highly-ranked PC games in the lineup—this includes Xbox’s upcoming flagship release of Halo Infinite. It’s a pretty sweet deal if you’re planning to upgrade or begin your PC build before the game’s release.
This could also be a sign that there will be fresh GPUs on the market for anyone still on the hunt for them, but maybe not at an exciting price point. The GPU shortage has been ongoing for years, especially with COVID-19 restrictions and regulations. However, this could be the time that makes the purchase of a GPU worth it, regardless of the inflated costs.
So, what’s included in the typical ‘Equipped for Battle’ bundle? If gamers buy the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT GPU, the Xbox Game Pass for one free month will be included. New GPU, new games…seems fair enough. Another bundle to be taken advantage of is the ‘Raise the Game’ Bundle that has everything included in the ‘Equipped for Battle’ bundle plus free, full access to Far Cry 6 and Resident Evil Village by buying a Radeon RX 6900 XT GPU.
The differences in the bundles are which GPUs and CPUs gamers purchase and the eligibility periods. The ‘Raise the Game’ bundle is tailored specifically for the Radeon RX 6900 XT GPU versus the new bundle that offers a free one-month access Game ass.
The AMD XGP ‘Equipped for Battle’ Game Bundle is available from October 26, 2021, through June 30, 2022. And the ‘Raise the Game’ bundle is already being offered from September 16, 2021, to December 31, 2021. Take advantages of these perks with a brand-new CPU and/or GPU now!
