Pizza Party, Confirmed Sus

After its announcement last June, the Among Us animated series has been radio silent until today, and CBS Studios has given fans a sneak peek at their upcoming animated series in collaboration with Inner Sloth.

The announcement of an Among Us animated series came straight from the official Among Us X (formerly Twitter) account way back in June of 2023. Since that time, it has been revealed animation duties will go to Titmouse — the studio responsible for bringing audiences Big Mouth and Star Trek: Below Decks — and Owen Dennis (creator of Cartoon Network’s Infinity Train) will serve as creator and executive producer on the upcoming project.

Since this initial announcement, Inner Sloth and CBS Eye Animation Productions have kept information under wraps for the most part until this week, when Inner Sloth unveiled a new teaser image to hype fans up for the animated series in progress. The image shows the cafeteria room of the first Among Us level released, The Skeld, and what appears to be a celebratory pizza party. A banner cleverly hanging in the background says, “We’re Not Dead,” but the word ‘not’ is covered in a red liquid that must be pizza sauce. The image can be seen below.

The upcoming animated series will be executive produced by Forest Willard, Marcus Bromander, and Carl Neisser from Innersloth, along with Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina from Titmouse. At the time of the release of this article, no television network or streaming service has been attached to the Among Us animated series just yet, but that information is sure to come out before the show gets an official release date.
