Don’t let yourself be tricked into buying fake BF3 beta codes.

Battlefield 3 may look gorgeous, but if you’re going to try and get into the beta you might want to wait for the real thing. The Battlefield3Online community site has uncovered a Battlefield 3 phishing scam at the BF3Nation website, where bogus Battlefield 3 beta keys are currently on sale. The owner of BF3nation has been attached to several other Battlefield-related scams, so you’ll want to stay far away from the fake codes and be wary about any offers that don’t come directly from EA.

EA is reportedly trying to bring down BF3Nation, but it’s still worth remembering that it’s better to play safe. Make sure the product you’re buying actually exists before you hand over your credit card information.
