The Cat Pack, An Exciting Paw Patrol Spin Off Crashes On To Paramount Plus Today

Out with the barks and in with the meows, as the coveted animated series Paw Patrol takes a back seat to feisty felines in Cat Pack, an hour long feature centred on cat characters.

Paw Patrol is a massive animated success bordering on many mediums. There are Paw Patrol video games, an official movie, apparel, even Pez dispensers and groceries come with Paw Patrol branding. With this abundance of Paw Patrol, fatigue can set in, which is why Cat Pack‘s sudden release is surprising.

The exclusive Cat Pack hour long event is available to stream now on Paramount Plus, and although the original Paw Patrol pack has extended to what feels like an infinite number of members, the newly introduced Cat Pack only has four members to start with, just like other bands of heroes — looking at you the Avengers and TMNT — which is far less overwhelming as a starting point.

Wild, as seen in Paw Patrol Season Seven

This new pack of furry ne’er do well felines is no stranger to the Paw Patrol franchise. The leader, Wild, has been introduced in the prior episode of season seven “Moto Pups: Pups vs. the Ruff-Ruff Pack,” as an ironically ‘wild’ cat that has a penchant for motorcycling. The other members have equally rambunctious names that fit their personalities, a shy cat named Shade, a brave feline named Leo, and the last member to round out the four-pack, Rory, an energetic all white cat.

For fans of Paw Patrol, and more importantly, fans of the season seven introduction of the Cat Pack‘s leader, this is exciting news as the Paw Patrol formula may make a much-needed change by adding a new band of characters on the ‘cat people’ side of the spectrum. Cat Pack is now available to stream on Paramount Plus.
