CES 2024: Samsung Gaming Hub Launches New Partner Accessory Program

As we edge closer toward one of the biggest electronics shows of the year, CES 2024, Samsung has unveiled the new ‘Designed for Samsung Gaming Hub’ partner accessory program and the first controller accessory for it, the REPLAY Wireless Controller from PDP.

The Designed for Samsung Gaming Hub partner accessory program has been officially unveiled, and with CES 2024 right around the corner, it is the perfect opportunity for companies to get involved with the technology that brought consumers the Galaxy line of smartphones. The objective of the program is to work with the best companies in gaming to make the Samsung Gaming Hub a destination for all gamers, with peripherals tailored to each individual’s needs. To start, Samsung has revealed its first product, the “REPLAY Wireless Controller,” from PDP in honour of the program beginning at CES 2024, and it can be seen below.

Head of Service Partnerships Group at Samsung Electronics, Jiho Ha said “Building on our already-high level of compatibility, the ‘Designed for Samsung Gaming Hub’ program will see us collaborating with trusted partners to craft accessories that further enhance the premier experience of the Samsung Gaming Hub,” emphasizing the importance of quality accessories when it comes to gaming. At CES 2024, Samsung has also unveiled their “designed for Samsung Gaming Hub” badge, which is emblazoned on every peripheral meant to be used with the Samsung-centred streaming platform.

Each peripheral branded with the badge can work with all Samsung Gaming Hub platforms, including the recently revealed Samsung Freestyle Gen 2 with Gaming Hub projector, which can utilize the products with the badge as well as every device in the ecosystem.

The REPLAY Wireless Controller from PDP revealed at CES 2024 is one of these peripherals and includes a built-in rechargeable battery for up to 40 hours of battery life, a 30-foot range Bluetooth wireless connection, a Samsung Gaming Hub home button (similar to the PS or XBOX button on the console controllers) capable of the immediate launch of Samsung Gaming Hub app and more.
