Samsung Announces The Freestyle Gen 2 With Gaming Hub Projector

Samsung has pulled back the curtain on their newest projector device, the Freestyle Gen 2 with Gaming Hub, which they’ve detailed as far more than just a simple projector.

Samsung has finally announced the sequel for their Freestyle projector that launched back in January 2022, introducing the Freestyle Gen 2 with Gaming Hub. The Gen 2 adds support for cloud gaming with improved performance while maintaining its small form factor. The ability to project an image anywhere is the Freestyle Gen 2 with Gaming Hub’s main feature, with cloud support it just pushes the envelope a little further than its predecessor.

The Freestyle Gen 2 with Gaming Hub lets users project content pretty much anywhere, indoors and outdoors. The catch this time around according to Samsung is it’s “the world’s first portable projector with cloud gaming built-in.” Building upon the original Freestyle, this device lets consumers watch favourite streaming services, but also allows users to play games from the cloud, such as Xbox Game Pass cloud-supported titles, without the need to lug around a home console.
