Creative Assembly Turns 30, Gives Players Free Content In Total War: WARHAMMER 3

Creative Assembly, best known for their work in real time strategy titles such as Halo Wars 2 and the Total War series, has turned 30 years old.

To celebrate the big birthday, the renowned games company is giving players of Total War: WARHAMMER, 30 new Regiments of Renown. Fortifying the Race-rosters of the Beastmen, Bretonnia, Chaos Warriors, Norsca and the Wood Elves.

Creative Assembly is touting this free update as a significant addition to the game that will spice things up, breathing new life into the already filled to the brim title.  Creative Assembly has now been around for 30 amazing years. Some of their games include the likes of the aforementioned Halo Wars 2, The Total War series, and Alien Isolation, one of the best takes on the long running Alien movie franchise as a video game adaptation.

In addition to the great games line up the beloved studio has under its belt, below is a breakdown of some interesting facts surrounding the long running games studio:

CA was founded in 1987. They started out porting Amiga titles to DOS.

The original Shogun: Total War (2000) started life as an RPG based on the Ming-dynasty Chinese novel Journey To The West.

In their early days, they were very almost nearly relocated to Singapore.

Before Total War took off, they made rugby, cricket and Australian Rules football games.

As of August 2017, CA employs over 500 people at their studios in the UK and Sofia, Bulgaria.

They have 8 major projects in the works, four of which are unannounced.
