Silent Hill Remake Leak Alert: It’s Allegedly Coming in 2027

A new leak has surfaced regarding the Silent Hill series, and it appears a Silent Hill Remake will follow the critically acclaimed Silent Hill 2 Remake in 2027.

Judging by the resurgence the Silent Hill series has had over the past few years, it’s no wonder Konami and Bloober would want to tap back into that horrific magic. Last year, Bloober Team (and KONAMI) confirmed they were diving back in with a remake of the first Silent Hill. Konami then said in late 2025 that it wants to release a new Silent Hill game every year, a proposal that the publisher says it can pull off because it is already working on a few unannounced projects.

Silent Hill: Townfall (PS5) Review

So far, they’ve accomplished their goals with Silent Hill 2 Remake, Silent Hill f, and the latest Silent Hill: Townfall, as all three have come out as annual releases since 2024. It appears the Bloober x KONAMI team-up is looking to add another Silent Hill Remake in 2027, namely, the first title from 1999. The 1999 PS1 horror game is getting the Bloober treatment (similarly to how the Silent Hill 2 Remake launched), and a new leak from MP1ST suggests work has been underway since 2022. The game is allegedly targeting a 2027 launch, and according to the report, the game cast its actors under the codename “Project Noise” and features Gabrielle Fritz and Jade Matthew in major roles.

While it isn’t clear what roles the two actors play in the Silent Hill Remake, the report from MP1ST speculates that characters police officer Cybil Bennett, nurse Lisa Garland, or primary antagonist Dahlia Gillespie would fit. Gabrielle Fritz is an English-German actor who previously appeared in games like Battlefield 2042 and on TV shows like FBI: International. Jade Matthew has appeared in Judy (2014), Suite 313, and Torchwood: The Story Continues. There’s no word on who could play the leading man and protagonist, Harry Mason, yet.

Silent Hill Remake Leak Alert: It’s Allegedly Coming in 2027

While the Silent Hill Remake still has incredibly sparse details (including whether it will be a console-exclusive launch like Silent Hill 2 or not), it appears KONAMI has gone back to its horror roots and returned to the horror series that helped define the company’s early stages. With the return of Silent Hill and Castlevania, creatures of the night have been eating well from KONAMI, and fans are loving it on forums like Reddit.

Regarding the Silent Hill Remake, fans should take all leaks and rumours regarding the horror title with a grain of salt until official information is revealed from Bloober Team or KONAMI themselves.
