The upcoming iOS and Android Disney Pixel RPG has finally received a release date, and it arrives just in time for the spooky season.
Previously, GungHo Online Entertainment revealed that they were working on a new Disney Pixel RPG title a few months ago, and today, they’ve added a release date to the formula. With the initial announcement, GungHo then showed fans a sneak peek at what’s to come two weeks ago, and the trailer can be seen below.
With the usual trickle of information building anticipation for the upcoming release, GungHo has pulled back the curtain on Disney Pixel RPG‘s release date today. The upcoming Pixel RPG will let fans go on adventures with pixelated versions of their favourite Disney characters while trying to overcome the chaos that has enshrouded the universe.
Disney Pixel RPG is a turn-based strategic RPG title that takes inspiration from the pixelated Final Fantasy titles (most recently FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS) featuring well-designed pixel artwork of everyone’s favourite Disney characters. Fans will be allowed to insert themselves in the universe with a pixelated character creator, ultimately allowing fans to adventure with Disney favourites through the many different Disney universes as a pixelated version of themselves.
While fan-favourites like Mickey Mouse, Aladdin, Donald Duck and even Pooh can be adventured with to help restore order to the world, Disney Pixel RPG hasn’t confirmed whether other Disney licenses like Star Wars or Marvel will make an appearance in the new title.

While this is not the complete list of licenses, Disney appears to have all hands on deck for the RPG. Disney Pixel RPG arrives to audiences globally on October 7.
