Plenty of fans of the Dragon Age series have been raving on Twitter as so many new projects are on their way to us.

With the upcoming Netflix series, Dragon Age: Absolution and a new video game, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf on the way, it’s no wonder fans of the video game series are raving about it again. It looks as though we’re in luck for the next few months as we lead up to the release of multiple Dragon Age projects.

As mentioned before, Dragon Age: Absolution, the Netflix series, is nearly here. It features a separate storyline than the games and follows a character named Miriam. Though the anime series may not be canon to its original 3 (almost 4) games, it is inspired by the game series.

The IMDb page says: “Set in the Tevinter Empire, the oldest of several human nations in Thedas explore the experiences of its different inhabitants.” in regards to the anime series.

Fans on Twitter are also talking about the hype for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf which is mentioned to be releasing in 2023, though they’re hoping to be able to see it at The Game Awards as well. The game is currently in its alpha stage which had fans talking about it a few weeks ago; for a while we’d thought that it’d been cancelled after hearing no word about it.

The game will be single-player as BioWare abandoned the idea of having it be multiplayer in 2021. They mentioned wanting to focus on next-gen platforms for the game such as Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S and skip their former consoles altogether. The game also leans into the story of an upcoming comic: Dragon Age: The Missing which is said to release on January 25, 2023.

Everyone is on the edge of their seats waiting for Dragon Age Day (a fan-created event) on December 4th, The Game Awards on December 8th, the upcoming anime on December 9th and everything to come in 2023. Look out, us fans are in for a windfall of treats very soon.
