Dungeon Siege III delayed until June

| April 7, 2011

The upcoming sequel won’t be available until after this year’s E3.

Dungeon Siege III was supposed to hit shelves in May, but the original release date has proven to be a bit overly ambitious. Square Enix has announced that the dungeon crawler will be delayed until June 21

, when it will be available for the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3.

“Square Enix is committed to delivering the ultimate Dungeon Siege experience,” said Mike Fischer, president and CEO of Square Enix, Inc.  “Although the final polish phase has demanded a bit more time than originally planned, we want to assure fans and followers that the additional effort will allow us to deliver an action-RPG worthy of its rich heritage.”
