The Epic Games Store Unleashes Rapture, Bioshock: The Collection Is Free This Week 3

The Epic Games Store has been giving away some absolute bangers on a weekly basis, and this week, they’re giving Bioshock: The Collection to users on the platform for FREE.

Many gaming platforms give away titles to consumers, such as Xbox Game Pass, or PlayStation Plus, equipping fans of those platforms for the month with new games, and providing more incentives for being subscribed to a service. The Epic Games Store seems to have followed suit, and this week they’re injecting gamers into the splicer-filled Rapture, with Bioshock: The Collection.

The three pack includes Bioshock Remastered, Bioshock 2 Remastered, and Bioshock Infinite at no extra charge for the whole week, Gearbox’s Borderlands 3 was available last week. With a giveaway like this, there has been no better reason to take another trip through a momentous series, or even experience the huge trilogy for the first time.

This is of course on top of the Epic Games Store Mega Sale that’s currently in effect. The sale has many newer fan favourites such as Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and Ghostwire: Tokyo for cheaper than retail. The weekly giveaway, however, has been a total mystery until the countdown timer hits zero from the website, and as of this posting, the countdown is just over six days away until the next huge reveal. Those looking to secure their copy of Bioshock: The Collection should do so quickly, as it will only remain free until June 2 at 11 a.m.

The Epic Games Store will be running their mega sale all the way through June 16, so gamers can snag on the savings for a while yet. Epic Games also releases all of their announcements on their official Twitter, so shooting over there and dropping a follow might be a good idea for those looking to stay in the loop.
