Fallout Season 3 Adds Star Wars: The Acolyte’s Manny Jacinto to Cast

As production ramps up on Season 3 of Amazon’s wildly popular Fallout TV adaptation, the show has added yet another powerhouse actor, Manny Jacinto.

These days Jacinto is best known for playing the devilishly charming villain Qimir in Star Wars: The Acolyte, but some of his other well-known roles include playing Jason Mendoza in The Good Place, and as Lt. Billy “Fritz” Avalone in Top Gun: Maverick.

While we don’t know exactly what role Jacinto will be playing in Fallout, he’s easily one of the most universally praised aspects of The Acolyte, and it feels likely we’d see him play another unnervingly charming character.

Alongside Jacinto, two other casting additions were announced, Jojo Rabbit actress Thomasin McKenzie and The Newsroom’s Emily Mortimer. Similarly, their roles don’t currently have any details.

Season 3 is looking to be an absurdly stacked addition, as the trio will also join Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) in a new role. That’s in addition to the returning main cast of Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, and Kyle MacLachlan.

While we don’t currently know specific synopsis details of Fallout Season 3, the series will move to a new location after the events that took place in New Vegas. The finale of Season 2 does seemingly suggest that at least some of future events will take place in Colorado, a location notably not featured in the series of video games.

Fallout has proven to be one of Amazon’s most successful endeavors in TV, with both season racking up over 100 million viewers worldwide. The series has also been widely critically acclaimed, with our own review of Season 2 saying, “Fallout Season 2 is a slam dunk for Prime Video and remains one of the best adaptations of a game to date. The world feels more lived in, more realized and more lore-rich than ever, with the cast diving into their characters in ways that make them memorable and iconic.”

Fallout Season 3 doesn’t currently have a release date or window. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
