The world of Fallout is about to get a lot larger, as Amazon’s live-action TV series adaption is set to premiere in a handful of days. If you’re hoping to tune in, here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the Fallout TV series.
The Fallout TV series tells a brand new story set within the canon of the video game series, taking place in the year 2296. This means it’s the furthest we’ve ever seen in the Fallout timeline, as the previous game, Fallout 4, took place in 2287.
The show follows a trio of characters: a naive Vault Dweller named Lucy, a young soldier in the Brotherhood of Steel named Maximus, and a former Hollywood star named Cooper Howard, who’s turned into a Ghoul. The series is developed by Kilter Films, with Jonathan Nolan producing and directing the first three episodes.
While the show has a variety of trailers you can find on Prime Video’s YouTube, below is the latest one.
Fallout TV Series Release Date
Fallout will be released on Prime Video on April 8. Luckily, you won’t have to wait weeks to finish the show, as all eight episodes will be released all at once for your binging pleasure.
Although a second season hasn’t been greenlit just yet, in an interview with GamesRadar, co-writer Graham Wagner hinted that it could be possible. “We wanted to slow our roll and not do it all in eight episodes because we’re talking about thousands of hours of gameplay,” said Wagner.
How to Watch the Fallout TV Series
Fallout will air exclusively on Prime Video, meaning the only way to watch the show is with a Prime Membership. If you already have one, great.
If not a membership is $14.99/month, but you can also sign up for a free 30-day free trial as an alternative, if you’re just looking to watch Fallout.
