Game Con Canada showcases exactly what you can expect as a VIP ticket holder, and they have some pretty cool perks.
Game Con Canada is Canada’s largest gaming convention, celebrating gamers and their communities. Attendees have the opportunity to play hundreds of video and board games from developers around the world, meet celebrity guests, wear cosplay, and connect with other fans who share their passion. Hosted at the Edmonton EXPO Centre, Game Con Canada runs from June 19 through June 21.

For those event goers who want the “ultimate experience,” Game Con Canada is offering its first-ever VIP ticket to only 100 attendees, priced at $350 plus taxes. This ticket grants VIP badge perks valued at over $600.

- A Friday Buddy Pass, where you can bring a friend for free on June 19
- Early entry to skip lines
- VIP seating at the event Mega Stage for all major shows and presentations
- A VIP swag pack

When picking up a VIP badge, there is a first-come, first-served opportunity to redeem one Steam game from a limited quantity. A single key can grant anywhere from one game to several, depending on the ticket holder’s choice.
Game Con Canada teased something from Supergirl and Warner Bros. Canada. While we don’t know all the details, the film is releasing the week following the convention. GCC said more details are coming soon, so it is definitely something to keep an eye on.
For those wanting a different experience, there are two other ticket types available.
- Day Passes – One ticket per day, costing $45 for adults, $36 for youth ages 13-17, and $12 for children 12 or younger
- All-Access Weekend Passes – One ticket for the entire weekend, costing $108 for adults, $87 for youth ages 13-17, and $30 for children 12 or younger
