The latest Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash trailer shows more gameplay and new characters Kento Nanami, Mahito, Eso and Kechizu.
Bandai Namco Entertainment America just dropped a new character gameplay and reveal trailer for one of its upcoming console titles: Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash. This will be the first console/PC game for the Jujutsu Kaisen franchise! This was the fourth character trailer, showing off ex-salaryman and Curse User Kento Nanami, and Cursed Spirits Mahito, Eso and Kechizu. This 2 vs. 2 action game has continued to expand its roster of popular characters from the manga/anime series.
Like many of Bandai Namco’s popular fighting games such as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles or Jump Force, Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash is a 2 vs. 2 fighter, with the ability to create some interesting matchups and combinations with their tag system. This could mean playing as Jujutsu Sorcerer Yuji Itadori and having a Cursed Spirit partner like Jogo. Or you know, you could always try out the much anticipated battle juggernauts together, like Gojo Satoru and Sekuna! The game will support single-player offline and 1-4 players online.
It was already revealed that the game would cover the first season of the anime, along with the content of the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film. The game will also feature an online battle mode where players can test their battle skills with friends or randoms. Again, the style would be very reminiscent of other fighting games, in that the maps have 3D animation of dynamic, changing environments. The coolest part from all the trailers has been the animation styles of the iconic characters’ attacks or Domain Expansion animations. They really nailed their attacks that way, as it is adapted from the show.
