Lisa Marie Presley was the only child of the Legendary Elvis Presley, and her last appearance was seen during the 80th Golden Globes.
During the Golden Globes win for Best Actor, Austin Butler, who played Elvis Presley in the movie Elvis, was heard saying, “Thank you for opening your hearts, your memories, your home to me,” with “Lisa Marie, Priscilla, I love you forever” regarding the acceptance he also felt from the surviving Presley family. Two days after, Lisa Marie Presley was found dead on January 12 due to possible cardiac arrest. The Golden Globes Twitter account has also responded regarding the unfortunate incident.
Other celebrities have flocked to Twitter as well in a massive showing of support with Leah Remini posting “I’m heartbroken over the passing of Lisa Marie Presley. Lisa did not have an easy life, as some might think. May she be at peace, resting with her son and father now. Her mom Priscilla and her three daughters, Riley, Finley, and Harper, are in my prayers.” That was only the tip of the iceberg, as other actors/actresses/musicians have also said kind words regarding the late Presley.
Fellow musician Charlie Daniels stated, “Mom and I are saddened to hear about the passing of Lisa Marie Presley. Our prayers are with her mother and her loved ones. – CD, Jr.” regarding the sad news. Another legendary musician Billy Idol also made a statement “Sad news 2 hear of #LisaMariePresley passing .. she was very loving 2 me, in Memphis in the 90’s she gave me a viewing of the private sections of Graceland which was very special. She was very lovely & we performed together at NYFW early 2000’s. RIP” regarding the passing of Presley.
Lisa Marie Presley is survived by her mother, Priscilla, and her three daughters, Riley, Harper and Finley.
