Monster Hunter: World has now over 10 million units shipped worldwide since its release on Steam and on home consoles.
The game involves duking it out against giant monsters in beautiful environments, and has gained player popularity through it’s co-op mode that lets players hunt with their friends.
The Monster Hunter series has 50 million units in total sales since its debut in 2004. With the advent of Steam as an accessible platform, Monster Hunter: World was able to spread across numerous regions. In combination with the console version, Monster Hunter: World sales increased since its Steam release on August 10.
Back in March, Monster Hunter: World had 7.5 million units shipped worldwide, which had yet to release the Steam version.
Monster Hunter: World is currently available on PC, the PS4, and the Xbox One.
