Every month fans are treated to Netflix arrivals, the necessary additions to the service that keeps fans around for the long haul. CGMagazine has the Canadian audience covered with August arrivals.
For those disappointed with the arrivals, or overwhelmed by the new Stranger Things season, that came through the juggernaut service in July, can rest easy. August is absolutely mobbed with quality titles, anime, documentaries, and of course, the Netflix Originals make an appearance for this month. As the heatwave that has hit North America continues its surge, so does the surge of arrivals to the subscription service currently beta testing how to stop account sharing.

As fans can see, there is a figurative cornucopia of titles available for the masses made available for Netflix subscribers in Canada (or anywhere with a VPN). The Cuphead Show gets a second part in time to coincide with the recently well received Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course, and Fullmetal Alchemist gets the live action treatment from the streaming giant.
With the good news from Netflix, comes the bad. This time only three series will be removed from the service and the days they vanish:
- Prison Break (Seasons 1-5) – August 14
- Wheel of Fortune (Seasons 35-37) – August 24
- Chicago Fire (Seasons 1-4) – August 31
