Sony has uncorked another handful of titles they’re adding to the PlayStation Plus service in September 2026, and its a mixed bag of genres.
As the world lurches towards Fall, PlayStation Plus is adjusting the thermostat (and its offerings) to add yet another four new titles to the service. For September 2026, PS Plus offerings are headlined by Sniper Elite: Resistance and the next best way friends can get together for a baseball game at any given moment, MLB The Show 2026. If neither of these titles is your jam, PS Plus offerings extend into other genres, with the RPG Chained Echoes also joining the party. Wobbly Life tops rounds out the additions as the fun, multiplayer title good for anyone. For September 2026, PlayStation Plus has brought variety.
For fans who have been holding out on scooping the latest MLB The Show 26 title, this addition is for you. PlayStation is adding the latest baseball game to its roster of PlayStation Plus titles, and it will give players the keys to the MLB kingdom. If you want to start your player career and take yourself through the minors to the bigs, you can in Road to the Show.
MLB The Show 26 reintroduces fans seamlessly to the big leagues, and fans will feel right at home with popular modes Diamond Dynasty, Franchise, and Storylines. If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, in September, you can follow the MLB Playoffs in MLB The Show 26 at no extra charge, and get a MLB The Show 26 Jump Start Bundle as a freebie for jumping in.
Sniper Elite: Resistance on the other hand, allows players to step behind the scope of precise rifleman, Henry Hawker, and take the fight to the Nazis in WWII France under occupation. In a story that operates concurrently with Sniper Elite 5, players can experience the entire campaign in co-op, or ride it solo and see how the events across the globe take place during Sniper Elite: Resistance. If campaign isn’t for you, players can customize their combatant, and take the fight online in competitive 16-player battles, or a Survival Mode to work together with other players instead of taking out competition.
PlayStation Plus also added the acclaimed indie JRPG, Chained Echoes to the equation this month, giving gamers who prefer a gripping story a bonus. Chained Echoes delivers a story-driven single player JRPG where a group of heroes travel around the continent of Valandis to bring an end to the war that has erupted between its three kingdoms. Players can expect to travel through a wide array of diverse landscapes spanning from plateaus and archipelagos to sunken cities and dungeons on their epic journey in this turn-based adventure.
Rounding out the list is the couch co-op multiplayer title, Wobbly Life. In the spirit of titles that are clumsy by design (like Fall Guys), Wobbly Life doesn’t take itself too seriously, and thats how it entrapts players with its charm. Subscribers can play solo or with up to three other players online or local split-screen co-op as an open-world sandbox lays open before you. The sandbox is chock full of interactives, and Wobbly Life is filled with mini-games, toys, and secrets begging to be found, and now PlayStation Plus subscribers can give it a try at no extra charge in September.
Of course with the new additions to the service, PlayStation Plus is calling last call for the August 2026 additions to the catalogue. This means players have until August 31 to claim Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk and Signalis to their game library, so subscribers should get on that or risk losing out on these titles.
