As part of a new partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, PowerA has released four new Harry Potter-themed products.

PowerA is continuing its line of inspired tech, with the products in question consisting of three controllers and one carrying case meant for Nintendo Switch systems. While the products are mostly just the same controllers that some people are used to using, the main intrigue with these is the designs on them. All of the controllers and the carrying case have officially licensed art etched into the material.

Starting with the series of art styles most people would want to see: Hogwarts houses. The Nintendo Switch 2 Advantage Wireless Controllers each have a different design that is suited to each house and its students. This fact also extends to the carry cases, too, with all of the controllers having a corresponding carry case to pair with.

The XBOX controllers are unlike from the Nintendo products, though. These two controllers are defined by their art styles as well, with the wired controller featuring Chibi illustrations of all the Harry Potter characters you could ask for. The wireless controller, on the other hand, is, as the press release says, inspired by the “excitement and competitive spirit of Quidditch,” which is basically just a cool Hogwarts logo at the centre with golden patterns running along the controller’s hull.

While this multi-year licensing partnership between seemingly unattached companies may be a bit out of the blue, PowerA is actually pretty excited about the deal. “As a lifelong Harry Potter fan, this partnership is especially meaningful,” said Director of Licensing & Strategic Partnerships at PowerA, Kiley Jacobson.

“Our goal is to design accessories that feel authentic to the wizarding world and resonate with those who hold it close to their hearts,” Jacobson continued, “while delivering the quality and performance expected from PowerA. We’re excited to build on this partnership and collaborate on even more magical products to come.”

The harry Potter collaboration of gaming products is the newest part of a long line of other gaming partnerships that PowerA has done in the past. If you’re curious to see what those products are, or the new Harry Potter ones, check out the PowerA website
