Update: Atlus’ Japanese Youtube account has uploaded a video containing the first footage of Rise fighting. Her weapon will apparently be a microphone stand, as predicted by many fans. Thanks to Youruber Bobrossfreak for uploading a dubbed version of the trailer.
The Japanese video game magazine Famatsu has confirmed in their new issue teaser that Rise Kujikawa will be playable in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.
Fans of Persona 4 will know that Rise is the support character in every game that she is in and that she isn’t a fighter. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will be the first time that Rise will ever be playable in a Persona game.
Although being revealed, it is still unclear what kind of fighting style Rise will use.
Famatsu also teased that they have more Persona news in their new issue out on April 24th.
Rise will also be playable in Persona 4: Dancing All the Night coming next year on the Playstation Vita.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will be released in North America in Fall of this year.
