The date for the 2016 TwitchCon Gaming Convention has been announced.
The second annual convention will be held at the San Diego Convention Center, from September 30 to October 2. It promises “Games, panels, education, meet & greets, meetups, live shows, music, merchandise (no, really this time), and so much more!”
In a post on the official Twitch blog, Director of Customer Experience, Jason Maestas says “Today we’re excited to announce the dates and location for TwitchCon 2016, the premier celebration of the culture and community of Twitch’s gaming and creative broadcasters, partners, developers, and viewers. TwitchCon isn’t just another convention, it’s everything you love about Twitch, but in real life 3D Smell-O-Vision!”
Details about the con are sparse at this point, this should be exciting for all those who use Twitch and the fans of those personalities and the culture of the Let’s Play community.
