The Sonos Sub Mini Subwoofer Is Revealed & It's Low On Price

After many years of asking, audiophiles are finally getting what they wish for in the Sonos Sub Mini, a more affordable option for the Sonos ecosystem of products.

The most notable detail on the Sub Mini is its functionality with the other products in Sonos’ back pocket, and pairs seamlessly with the Sonos Ray, or Sonos Arc sound bars to elevate sound while holding on to that sleek Sonos design.

The Sub Mini is wrapped in a neat cylindrical exterior that is reminiscent of other voice assistant-laden speakers, such as the Amazon Echo, or Google Home, except much larger at a towering 12 inches. The Sonos Sub Mini doesn’t reinvent the wheel by any means, but it is indeed a far more affordable option than the original Sub, and those holding out for the Sub to get a price cut will be thrilled to learn of the newer device. This speaker will be perfect for those in apartments or low on space. The only bummer is that this new sound station doesn’t have compatibility to the Sonos Roam and Move portable speakers.

Consumers can pre-order the Sonos Sub Mini directly from the source right now, for its release on October 6.
