Since the year started, it has been rumoured that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt would be receiving new DLC, and it would lead up to a potential Witcher 4 announcement. Today, Songs of the Past, a brand new DLC chapter in Geralt’s third adventure, has been confirmed by CD PROJEKT RED. The rumours reported that the new DLC would be coming out in May 2026 and would be developed with help from Fool’s Theory, and CD PROJEKT RED confirmed its existence and that Fool’s Theory (the independent developers previously linked to The Witcher 1 Remake) is helping bring Songs of the Past to life.
