Vampire Survivors continues to be the gift that keeps giving even after Spooky Season has ended, and Developer poncle has announced a new game type today, a game type called ‘Aventures.’
Vampire Survivors was released to almost instant widespread critical acclaim due to its impossible-to-put-down nature, and easy to learn hard to master gameplay. To expand on the hit title further, Update 1.8 will launch with a brand new game type revealed by poncle today, Adventures. Poncle has also released a new trailer for the update and it carries the same wackiness the original trailer did but with some extra insanity on top. The trailer can be seen below.
The Vampire Survivors spin on Adventures, sees heroes embark on a series of zany side-quests consistent with the Survivors gameplay feel and will allow players to follow a unique progression path each time, and each Adventure will give players an opportunity to start from scratch and face custom challenges with a heavily limited arsenal. This is without the risk of losing unlocks in the main game, and the update, just like all others before it, will be completely FREE of charge.

- Venture forth on a self-contained quest starring different members of the Survivors crew and fight your way to the conclusion.
- Over and Over – Start from scratch and overcome customized challenges with a unique arsenal of weapons and upgrades completely separate from fans’ base game progression.
- But wait, There’s more! – Moving forward more regular free updates and DLCs like new weapons, characters, and items including this Adventures update will be added, giving fans hours of extra content per Adventure and more.
- With the next update v1.8 players can dive into a handful of Adventures at the jump, two for the base game and one Legacy of the Moonspell Adventure for DLC owners.
