Venom 3 Is Now Called Venom: The Last Dance & It's Releasing In October

The curtain has finally been pulled all the way back for the impending threequel, and Tom Hardy will be reprising his role as Eddie Brock in the newly titled Venom: The Last Dance due to release in October.

The upcoming third instalment of the anti-hero lead franchise, Venom: The Last Dance has finally been given a title Variety reports, and has finally been given a moved-up release window of October 25, 2024. The last we saw of the Eddie Brock x Symbiote duo was after the credits rolled after the sequel, Let There Be Carnage, where the symbiote licks the TV screen as it displays Tom Holland’s Peter Parker from Spider-Man: Far From Home.

On the flip side, Eddie Brock (and the symbiote’s voice) also makes an appearance in the end credits of Spider-Man: No Way Home, so it’s anyone’s guess on whose universe the anti-hero duo exists in. But, now we have just a bit more to hold fans over before October.

While plot details for the third film are kept tightly bound, Tom Hardy is confirmed to return as the Lethal Protector duo of Eddie Brock and Venom. Juno Temple is also confirmed to have joined the cast for the third film, but her role has not been announced yet. Doctor Strange‘s Chiwetel Ejiofor (who played Karl Mordo) is also confirmed to be in the film, but his role has not been expanded on yet. It could be possible Marvel fans see more universe-bending antics, like those presented in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

In June 2023, Tom Hardy posted a photo of himself roaring at a wolf, with the caption “V3” attached to his personal Instagram account. In this post, he is wearing the same outfit that he wore in the end credits scene in No Way Home. So at the very least fans can speculate Venom: The Last Dance will take place directly after that end credits scene. But, until an official announcement is made, fans should take all news with a grain of salt.
