Get in the robot — fans of Maple Story and anime, specifically, Neon Genesis Evangelion can look forward to a new crossover between the two properties, set to begin February 28 until March 27, 2018.
The Evangelion pilots have found themselves in Maple World. Aide the likes of Shinji, Asuka and Rei by completing special Evangelion themed quests and facing off against Angels that have invaded the world of Maple Story. Players will be able to earn EVA coins, which can then be traded-in for limited-time items. Eva themed items include unique chairs, medals and even permanent equipment. The EVA Coins can be exchanged in the in-game Evangelion Coin Shop.
During the event, players can also find limited-edition Evangelion style Boxes, containing even more special Evangelion themed goodies and gear. The new items will become available in Maple Story with the latest content update.
Additional Evangelion themed items will become purchasable through random boxes and hair coupons that give players hairstyles based on characters from the legendary anime series.
