Tower of Fantasy Announces Big Crossover With EVANGELION Landing on March 12

The free-to-play A-RPG, Tower of Fantasy, is back with a new crossover; this time, it’s with the fan-favourite anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion, which arrives March 12.

Tower of Fantasy is set hundreds of years into the future on a distant planet called Aida, and the newest addition to humanity’s new terraformed home is the invading crossover of EVANGELION, which is finally coming after being excitedly announced back in January. Fans will be able to engage in a brand-new story that allows them to join up with and fight alongside instantly recognizable EVA units. Developer Hotta Studio has delivered a trailer to commemorate the occasion and it can be seen below.

A threat faces the Tower of Fantasy world surface of Aida when the 4th and 10th Angels from the rift shatter the peace in Vera. Other invading Angels can be found outside of Mirroria, and this is where three Evangelion outsiders, complete with Multipurpose Humanoid Decisive Weapons, will join the fight with Vera Guardians and the Executor to combat the new threat. The new Evangelion units will need to recharge in the hangar on Vera, but after recharging, they will storm the battlefield.

During the crossover, the original mecha of the Tower of Fantasy is activated by Mirroria, which will allow players to use it (and even pilot it) to fight the invading Angel forces alongside special Evangelion units. A special batch of all-terrain vehicles known as Soul Plugs will be at players’ disposal as well, giving multiple options on how to push back the invading forces. If that is not enough, pilots will also be able to fight alongside one of the central anime protagonists from Neon Genesis Evangelion, Asuka Shikinami Langley, and players will also be able to earn the character as a simulacrum.

Fans have a lot to look forward to when the Tower of Fantasy x Evangelion crossover lands on March 12. Fans can check out all of the released information on the official Tower of Fantasy website.
