The MCHOSE ACE 75 Pro-Performance Hall Effect keyboard is built for performance, plain and simple. Featuring an impressive 8K polling rate, 256K scanning rate and 0.08ms latency, this 75% keyboard is built to perform at the highest level of gaming competition. With four unique colours available, a dedicated RT button, and a multi-function knob, the MCHOSE ACE 75 is an impressive keyboard.
Designed as a compact 75% TKL keyboard, the ACE 75 manages a clean and striking profile. Featuring translucent keycaps and a unique horizontal light bar, there is a lot to love about the look of MCHOSE’s latest half-effect board. The keycaps provide a diffused effect to the RGB lighting, creating a soft glow effect. This is contrasted by the aforementioned horizontal light bar that runs under the Function Keys and the translucent logo located to the right of the arrow keys, which shine brightly and vibrantly.
My one small critique of the RGB on the ACE 75 is that it lacks per-key customization. This has become a standard at the $150 keyboard range. While the lighting strip and logo can be independently customized from the keys, the keys themselves are locked to a single colour. There are lots of options for how the keys can be illuminated, but it is, at its core, a single zone of lighting.

A single multi-function know is located along the left side of the board and can manage a wide range of functions. A single RT switch located on the back right side of the keyboard handles up to three onboard profiles, allowing for hot-swapping when switching from work to play. It’s a simple but effective use of additional keys and leans into the ACE 75’s performance-first design.
Examining the internal structure of the ACE 75, the team at MCHOSE has worked to create a comfortable and acoustically conscious keyboard. Featuring five layers of padding, the keystroke experience is quite comfortable, and while there is definitely an acoustic response to keypress, it presents as more muted and soft as opposed to the mechanical clicking sound found in traditional mechanical keyboards.
“The MCHOSE ACE 75 is quite comfortable to type on and, thanks to the translucent keycaps, looks great while doing so.”
MCHOSE has included two switch options with the release of the ACE 75: a Berserker Magnetic Switch (available in Moon Rock Grey) and the Royal Steed Magnetic Switch (available in Mecha Green, Navy Blue and Midnight Purple). The Royal Steed Magnetic Switch included in the Navy Blue variant that was provided for review feels incredibly smooth to use. The feedback from the keystroke is notably consistent and provides the aforementioned muted and soft sound profile.

The MCHOSE ACE 75 is quite comfortable to type on and, thanks to the translucent keycaps, looks great while doing so. The overall build and feel of the ACE 75 is solid, providing a great and consistent typing experience. The aluminum top plate helps keep things feeling weighted and sturdy as well, creating a solid and sturdy-feeling keyboard.
Performance on the ACE 75 is excellent. As these are magnetic, hall-effect switches, gamers can expect to have full access to a wide range of per-key customization. Per-key actuation is at the top of the list and allows users to adjust the actuation point from as little as 0.1 mm to 3.45 mm. It’s incredibly easy to adjust and works as advertised. The ability to hot-swap profiles makes this incredibly useful, as during testing, I could easily swap between typing at 2.0 mm and a gaming profile that I had customized certain keys to a lower actuation point.
Users will also have full access to a host of key customization options, including Rapid Snap — the ability that allows for faster directional change, Dynamic Keystroke — the ability to perform multiple actions at specific points in a keystroke, and simultaneous opposing cardinal directions — handling multi-direction input seamlessly. All work exceptionally well thanks to the ACE 75’s incredible scanning and polling rate.

On that note, the MCHOSE ACE 75 Pro-Performance Hall Effect keyboard is rated for 8,000 Hz polling and a 256K scanning rate, which translates into an incredibly low 0.08ms latency response time. Gaming on the ACE 75 is incredibly responsive, highly customizable and feels tight and responsive. In the game of precision, the ACE 75 delivers consistently.
All of the ACE 75 settings and customization are handled through MCHOSE’s downloadable driver software or through their M HUB, accessible through the browser. As someone who has been downloading peripheral software for far too long, I have been thankful for the browser-based apps that have been released over the past year. In the case of M HUB, it works as advertised, immediately recognized the ACE 75 when plugged in and was easy to navigate.
The ACE 75 is currently available on Kickstarter. As a performance-first keyboard, the ACE 75 from MCHOSE is an excellent $150 hall-effect keyboard that still offers a comfortable and customizable typing experience. If you’re in the market for a performance keyboard with a unique aesthetic flair, the ACE 75 is worth considering.
