In checking out the new SoundPEATS Mini Pro earbuds I realized that in a market where more and more device manufacturers are starting to remove headphone jacks, the need to find a decent set of wireless headphones is becoming greater by the day. SoundPEATS is a lesser known company when it comes to audio products, despite being around since 2010, that aims to deliver quality products at a reasonably affordable price.
I recently had the opportunity to try out one of their newer products, the SoundPEATS Mini Pro earbuds. With a price under $100 CAD, they are competitively priced among names such as JBL, SkullCandy and Sony.
Straight out of the box, you will immediately be surprised by the overall compactness of the case size containing the earbuds. While slightly thicker, the case size of the Mini Pro’s was not much larger than my car’s key fob. Along with the case and earbuds, in the box you will also find a short USB-C charging cable and a few different sizes of ear tips to help the earbuds find the perfect fit.
Pairing the SoundPEATS Mini Pro earbuds to your device is as simple as taking the earbuds out of the case, putting them into your ear and searching for them on Bluetooth settings on whichever device you are using. On all devices I used, whether it be a PC, Android or iOS device, the SoundPEATS paired quickly.
In my time of using the SoundPEATS Mini Pro earbuds, I found the sound quality to be excellent. While listening to various media types, the quality of sound they produced was exceptionally clear and crisp, with just the right amount of bass to give a satisfying audible pound.

The addition of Hybrid ANC made listening to different types of media in noisy environments quite enjoyable. I felt the Mini Pro earbuds fit perfectly into my ears and both the size and light weight of only 4.97g made them very comfortable to wear for long periods of time without causing any form of ear strain.
Those who live an active lifestyle or who are outside a lot will come to appreciate the IPX5 rating. The SoundPEATS Mini Pro’s can be worn in the rain, while exercising at a gym or just sweating while outdoors in general, though use in pools or while swimming or in a sauna is not recommended.
Users will also appreciate the long battery life of up to seven hours of continuous use while out of the case. With the case, you can expect to reach up to a total of 21 hours, making the SoundPEATS Mini Pro earbuds perfect to toss in a bag, pocket or purse without having to worry about charging them up. When it comes time to top up the batteries, both the case and earbuds quickly reach a full charge well under 2 hours; however I do wish SoundPEATS had incorporated wireless charging for the case.
The SoundPEATS have done an incredible job with their Mini Pro earbuds. I constantly found myself returning to them when I needed a pair of earphones when I went out and didn’t have a lot of room in my pockets. They deliver a truly rich listening experience that could easily rival that of a much more expensive competitor while consistently getting me through a full day of use. For those looking for a great set of earbuds without breaking the bank, look no further than the SoundPEATS Mini Pro earbuds.
