I can confidently say this model is a significant upgrade over its predecessor. It offers nearly perfect performance, with its higher price being the main drawback. However, as with many quality investments, sometimes it is worthwhile to spend a bit more on a device that provides long-term value and consistent use.
The first aspect that stood out to me about the Yeedi S20 Infinity Ultra was its luxurious, premium design. The new and improved OmniCyclone Station now features sharper, more angular edges, replacing the previous generic rounded design. I particularly appreciate the matte black finish, complemented by glossy sections where the cameras are located.
The top surface of the robot vacuum has a brushed-steel appearance with a crosshatch pattern that adds to its sophisticated look. Although the OmniCyclone Station is smaller than my current model, the water tanks appear to have similar capacities across both devices. I appreciate the smaller station, as it provides more space beneath the shelf where it is stored and has a more visually appealing design.

During its initial cleaning session, I was truly amazed by the strength of the vacuum’s suction. It was noticeably louder than the Yeedi M14 Plus, even when set to moderate suction. During its first pass over my main living area, it picked up even small amounts of dirt, dust and debris, demonstrating its efficiency.
The Yeedi S20 Infinity Ultra performs two cleaning passes per area by default, helping ensure a thorough clean. The maximum suction power of the Yeedi M14 Plus is 18,000 Pa, whereas the S20 Infinity Ultra delivers up to 22,000 Pa, resulting in a noticeable increase in cleaning strength.
In my previous experience with the Yeedi M14 Plus, I regularly encountered issues with its mopping function, particularly visible streaks on tile and hardwood floors, along with stubborn stains that sometimes required multiple passes. The Yeedi S20 Infinity Ultra addresses these issues by introducing the new FocusJet high-pressure pre-dissolving spray.
This spray on the S20 Infinity Ultra is a game-changer, as it effectively breaks down tough stains across different surfaces. Watching the feature in action was very impressive. For instance, after I cooked fried rice, some oil and soy sauce spilled onto the floor, and I let the stain sit for about two hours. When the robot started cleaning, the spill was almost completely gone, highlighting the device’s enhanced cleaning capabilities.
The Yeedi S20 Infinity Ultra demonstrates notable improvements across several existing features. Its mopping system includes the upgraded OZMO Roller 3.0, which rotates at 220 RPM and uses pressurized scrubbing for deeper cleaning. The ZeroTangle anti-tangle technology has also been significantly upgraded to prevent pet and human hair from clogging the brush. Obstacle avoidance has improved as well. The smart mop cover can raise up to 0.6 inches when it detects carpets or rugs, preventing the device from getting stuck, which was a common issue with earlier models. Additionally, the OmniCyclone Station offers a more thorough cleaning process, washing the mop at 145 F and drying it with hot air afterward to eliminate odours and help prevent mildew buildup.
While the idea of robots gaining sentience remains in the realm of science fiction, I do appreciate how advanced obstacle avoidance has become in this device. The new AIVI 3D 4.0 system uses an RGB camera with LED structured light to identify more than 100 common objects. Combined with embedded dToF LiDAR mapping and AI recognition, the Yeedi S20 Infinity Ultra displays exceptional spatial awareness, reducing the risk of accidents such as falling down stairs. Its battery performance is also commendable, with a 6,400 mAh capacity allowing for approximately 200 minutes of continuous operation, which should be more than enough for most households.

There are many areas in my life where I choose to invest significantly, including my health, collectibles like Pokémon and devices that streamline daily tasks. The Yeedi S20 Infinity Ultra is quite expensive, and I understand that many people may hesitate to spend nearly C$1,500 on a robot vacuum. However, investing in such a device can fundamentally change how you manage household chores by automating vacuuming and mopping.
Through its app, you can set cleaning schedules that fit your weekly routine, which has saved me a considerable amount of time. If you are able to allocate a larger budget toward improving your home’s cleanliness, I am confident the Yeedi S20 Infinity Ultra will be one of the most valuable purchases you can make to enhance your living environment.

Nevertheless, I highly recommend this device, as it offers considerable benefits and can help maintain a much cleaner home.
