Sackboy is back in a race around LittleBigPlanet.

Get ready for a karting adventure featuring everyone’s favourite burlap personality. Build your own kart and bring it to the tracks of the LittleBigPlanet universe where players face off against other sack people to save items from being stolen by The Hoard. While trying to be the next “to own” karting title LBP Karting doesn’t live up to the expectations people have of LBP titles. It has elements of LBP, cute, colourful customization and levels littered with prize bubbles however the tracks feel bland and uncreative. The user generated content gives LBP Karting a chance to overcome this obstacle; community levels range from the truly creative to very basic. LBP karting can be clunky at times with drifting dynamics and is a generic kart racer painted up in LittleBigPlanet colours leaving it to soon blend into the discount bin. The story is consistent with pervious titles, taking place after LBP 2, the plot is extremely random and not very interesting. If players really want a karting adventure, ModNation Racers is a great alternative for PS3 users, or go retro with Super Mario Kart for Super Nintendo. These karting titles are more inspired with better controls.

Final Thoughts:

If players really want a karting adventure, ModNation Racers is a great alternative for PS3 users, or go retro with Super Mario Kart for Super Nintendo. These karting titles are more inspired with better controls.
