Playstation has announced on its blog the two special editions Survival and Post-Pandemic for the anticipated game The Last of Us to be released in May.
To start off Survival, which will be priced at $79.99, a 170 page hardcover artbook will be included featuring the designs that went into making the game. Players will also get Dark Horse’s The last of Us: American Dreams, the first issue in a comic series that looks into Ellie’s backstory, that will also come with a special cover exclusive to the survival edition.
The Sights and Sounds DLC pack for this edition include:
–Offical Game soundtrack
–PS3 Dynamic Theme
–PSN Avatars, Winter Joel and Ellie
The Post-Pandemic Edition, will only be available at GameStop at for $159.99, will also feature the The Last of Us: American Dreams issue one comic book with special cover, and a premium statue of Joel and Ellie by Project Triforce.
This edition comes with both the Sights and Sounds DLC pack, as well as more digital content in the Survival DLC pack that includes:
-Multiplayer bonuses: bonux XP, melee booster, in-game currency and customizable character items
-Bonus Joel and Ellie skins for when single player is completed
Both editions will come with a steelbook case, with the only difference being that the Survival Edition will have special artwork with Ellie on one side and Joel on the other. Custom chrome Naughty Dog stickers will also come with both editions.
