The wait for the second season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead may not be as long as we thought. While it was reported the developer was shooting for a 2014 release, they have clarified that they are actually aiming for a fall 2013 window.
In a statement given to Game Informer, a Telltale Games representative said:
“The current estimated release window for Season Two of The Walking Dead is for Fall of ‘this’ year (2013), and not ‘next’ year (2014) as has been reported after a recent interview. We apologize for any confusion and thank you and all of our fans for your continued excitement for the series!”
Considering how the first season ended, it’s not exactly clear how or where the second will continue the story, but series writer Gary Whitta was quoted as saying there will be more Walking Dead before the release of the second season.
Aside from that, there are no details, but stay tuned to Comics & Gaming Magazine for the latest on The Walking Dead and all things gaming.
