Wesley Snipes Denies Hard Feelings or Issues On Set of Blade Trinity 1

With Blade 2022 in the news, previous Blade star Wesley Snipes addresses accusations of acting like a Hollywood Diva on set of Blade Trinity. Snipe voices a similar anthem as America’s national cry regarding Black Lives Matter, indirectly with his quote from The Guardian.

“This is part of the challenges that we as African Americans face here in America – these microaggressions. The presumption that one white guy can make a statement and that statement stands as true! Why would people believe his version is true? Because they are predisposed to believing the black guy is always the problem.”

Snipes denies all claims and laughs over their absurdities. He reminds the world of his title of executive producer while filming Blade Trinity. Patton Oswalt, his direct accuser who filmed Blade Trinity with Snipes, said he spoke to the director, David Goyer, through post-it notes and assaulted him once while accusing him of racism.

Snipes, who got released from prison in 2013 from a three-year sentence, might’ve expected Blade’s role to continue in his favor, but Marvel Studios made other plans casting Marhershala Ali. Snipes says in an interview with AP that he is “happy for him” and that “people are very, very sneaky, they try to make it about the actors, but it’s not,” the interview is available on AP Entertainment’s Twitter feed.

Marvel’s Blade will cast Mahershala Ali and sets for release in 2022.
