Dead by Daylight Drags The Glory of NieR: Automata To The Fog

The next game franchise poised to enter Dead by Daylight is NieR: Automata, and it drags 2B, A2, and the evil Emil into The Fog.

After the huge amount of news unleashed on fans during the 10th-anniversary Behaviour Interactive stream (including the reveal of Terrifier coming to The Fog), Dead by Daylight has announced yet another addition to its growing roster of characters. Unlike previous character additions like Lara Croft from Tomb Raider, this latest collaboration doesn’t add new survivors or killers; it reskins existing characters with NieR: Automata flavour.

The new collaboration features 2B and A2 as Legendary Outfits for Feng Min and Yui Kimura, transforming these Survivors into YoRHa’s battle-tested androids as they face off against the Killers of Dead by Daylight. Additionally, Killer players will be able to strike fear into survivors with a new skin for The Legion. The Legion will receive a Very Rare Outfit inspired by Emil; his appearance and unsettling grin join the Trails to haunt players in a whole new dimension. A new trailer showing off all of the additions can be seen below, courtesy of Behaviour Interactive.

The Creative Director on Dead by Daylight, Dave Richard, said, “I think NieR:Automata is a game that leaves its mark on anyone who plays it, and we’re thrilled to welcome it into the world of Dead by Daylight,” adding, ““Beyond the amazing characters and incredible visuals, there’s a definite connection between the themes of our two universes, both dealing with cycles of violence and suffering. Bringing 2B, A2, and Emil into The Fog gave us a chance to help celebrate what makes NieR:Automata so special to us.”

The entire collection, including the skins for all three characters, is available today so fans can jump in right now and embody their favourite Nier: Automata android in The Fog. Fans looking for more information can find it on the official Behaviour Interactive website.
