The Phantom Thieves from Persona 5 will be joining the mobile RPG, Alchemy Stars for a limited-time event in July.
Life will be changing as the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5 Royal are plotting their heists in Alchemy Stars. This special, limited-time event will run from July 14 to August 3, 2022—offering a brand-new scenario with five iconic characters from Persona 5 Royal. Back in June, it was announced that Level Infinite, the publisher behind Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt and Dune: Spice Wars would be working together with TourDog Studio on this collaboration.
This crossover will introduce Persona 5 Royal’s protagonists Joker, Fox, Queen, Violet and Monda as they enter Alchemy Stars for the first time ever. Players can take advantage of unlocking/recruiting these characters through a limited-time banner. One of the best tactical RPG gacha mobile games will be meeting the best of JRPG games.
Fans of Persona 5 Royal and players of Alchemy Stars will be able to use the Phantom Thieves in a special crossover story in the new scenario. The new scenario entails players traversing through the heart of Umbraton with a moonlight backdrop. Then, players will encounter the infamous Phantom Thieves who have found themselves in a mysterious new world. The true source of the Shadows occupying Umbraton will be uncovered in this epic crossover event with lots of fun nods to the Persona universe.
What has made Alchemy Stars a stand-out success has been its ability to mix RPG, deck building/gacha and turn-based strategy elements into the game’s combat mechanics. The game has been able to merge fantasy with a sci-fi aesthetic—alongside its stunning anime art style. Players have always had the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of characters to create different party matchups using the game’s great match-3 system.
Aurorians and Caelestites can expect the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5 Royal to shake things up. Players can expect more details and trailers as the release date for this event draws closer. Alchemy Stars has been celebrating its first year launch with another crossover that saw Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid characters available to recruit in its own special event.
Players are also encouraged to continue grinding the current special event, “The Trees, Fish, and a Slow Life” that will be ending July 11th. This event consists of two-part quests called “Afternoon Tea Party” and “Teatime Pleasantries,” where players can get rewards such as two new Aurorions, Lumamber and a Special Star Flare. The most important aspect of this event is collecting Anderson Association Tickets.
These special tickets can be traded in for other goodies like a 5-Star Aurorian United Kit 2, Special Star Flare, limited-edition furniture and Cloud Gardens furniture, Legendary Aurorian Breakthrough materials, and tons of Aurorian upgrade materials. The Anderson Store will be open until July 14th.
Alchemy Stars is currently available on Android and iOS, with Persona 5 Royal currently available on PlayStation 4 and will be coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on October 21, 2022.
