ASUS recently took the time to announce, two brand new game ready laptops, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus S and the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR II.
First up, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus S offers consumers with what ASUS is claiming to be the World’s slimmest gaming laptop — 14.95-15.75mm rocking an Intel Core i7 870H CPU and Nvidia’s GeForce GRX 1070 with Max Q technology or a GTX 1060 GPU.
The laptop will also sport an ultra-responsive 144hz screen, making it an ideal fit for competitive play, or for games that require precision. The Zephyrus resides in an all metal 14.2” chassis, making it a durable and attractive laptop for both personal uses indoors or on the go.
The next laptop up on offer is the ASUS ROG 17.3” Strix SCAR II. Remarkably, ASUS promises that the Strix SCAR II is actually housed in a smaller 15.7” chassis, making it the first laptop in its class to be less than 400mm wide.
The laptop itself, features Aura Sync RGB lighting, a desktop style keyboard and ASUS’s HyperCool Pro cooling system. The system will offer up to an Intel Core i7-8750H, a Nvidia GTX 1060, 32GBs of DDR4 RAM, A 4K UHD display with G-sync Technolgy.
Both laptops will be up on display during Gamescom 2018, specifically Hall 7 in the Koelnmesse building in Cologne, Germany.
