Recently Rocksteady released the final chapter in the Batman Arkham game series with Arkham Knight. The iconic Barbara Gordon has been a corner stone in the series and will be making her appearance shortly in an Arkham Knight downloadable story expansion called A Matter of Family. This DLC will take place before Arkham Asylum which is why Batgirl is able to don her cape and cowl.
