Battle With your Friends and Make Custom Levels in MechWarrior5 2

After debuting a new MechWarrior5 trailer, developer Piranha Games announced that the game will support full modding (including the steam workshop) as well as an intense four-player co-op mode.

Here is what developer Piranha Games has to say regarding the game’s co-op mode: “Braving a career of dangerous contracts as a mercenary will often require back up that you can trust, making your real-world friends the perfect allies to help build your squad’s reputation.”

The co-op mode will allow for you along with three other friends to take on the game’s massive campaign together, sticking through as a team through both the best and worst.

Through the mod support, players will be able to utilize the toolsets provided by the developers in order to make their own missions, contracts, biomes and many other exciting in-game features.

MechWarrior5 was already highly anticipated for its massive player controlled mech PVE battles, but with these latest additions, the game seems to be moving towards a whole new direction that was not initially promised nor expected by fans of the series.

The latest additions were announced at Mech_Con 2017 and will be implemented with the game when it releases on PC late 2018.

MechWarrior 5 is the new instalment of the MechWarrior series, but unlike previous entries, MechWarrior5 will be the first in many years to revive the series’ single player focus. In MechWarrior 5, players will be able to control and customize their own robots called “BattleMechs” as they rank up to become the best pilot around.
