Battlefield 2042 Released New Chaotic Teaser with New Specialists 1

The launch of Battlefield 2042 is fast approaching, and it’s going to be pure pandemonium, according to the game’s new teaser trailer.

Imagine a world where NFL superstar, Tom Brady, is still killing the quarterback game in 2042…well, that’s what Battlefield 2042 jokingly predicts.

On Tuesday, October 26, the new teaser trailer for the game is called “What A Time To Be Alive”, and it shows off two pretty funny, yet accurate predictions of what the future will look like. One of them is already mentioned above. The Battlefield 2042 trailer mostly shows off the personalities of the new specialists that are going to be available to use in multiplayer matches.

The opening shows the two specialists, Navin Rao and Emma “Sundance” Rosier driving to what seems like their demise as they drive the vehicle with a C5 packed stuck to the hood, up a street ramp. The vehicle flies in the air and shows Sundance jumping out with their squirrel suit, narrowly escaping the C5’s explosion and saying the teaser title, “What a time to be alive!”

More chaos ensues as another vehicle is trying to weave through the bullet storm and barrage of explosions, but, interestingly passes a building called “YouTube Gaming Arena.” This is a nice, little tease that esports gaming arenas are going to be more frequent in 2042. With the growing competitive scenes in games like Valorant, Call of Duty, and League of Legends, the likelihood of this arena (sponsored by YouTube, of course) being real is highly possible.

The second reveal was the opening above, which shows the grappling hook specialist, Webster Mackay, staring at a huge digital billboard that reads, “2042 MVP Tom Brady.” The text is accompanied by an image of Tom Brady, who’s in his football jersey but looks very aged with his hair fully white and his skin a little like the pigskin he famously throws around in football matches. It’s not a bad joke as most people are wondering when the 44-year-old quarterback will retire. The teaser ends with a poor cockroach being run over as a casualty of the war zone it’s in.

This 30-second teaser doesn’t feature any real gameplay while it’s a fun look at the exciting futuristic world. To see all the specialists in actual gameplay, a first look trailer showed the bombastic characters in action. It goes into more details, such as the special loadouts and abilities for Navin Rao, Sundance and Webster Mackay. The trailer is worth checking out to prepare you to take on the wild warfare the latest Battlefield is bringing.
